The last lot I used the gerbmerge python script and works brilliantly, it will fit all your boards as best as possible onto any size  panel (you define in the settings file), or you just simply set it up with I want X rows and columns on the board.  It will also panelize multiple designs (what I&#039;m going to do).  A little bit of fiddling initially but once done it works really well.
